State Senator Frank Antenori is encouraging the public to attend Arizona Science Center’s new exhibit; MathAlive! The 6,500-square-foot exhibit utilizes nearly 40 immersive and interactive experiences to bring math to life by taking it from its native form into the applied worlds of design, engineering, technology and science.

The Raytheon sponsored exhibit is designed to inspire and spark the imagination of children and bring to life the real math behind what kids love most – video games, sports, fashion, music, robotics, and more.

Antenori has worked with educators, the public, and his fellow legislators in strengthening Arizona’s commitment to school reform which would free up funding for more math and science opportunities for Arizona’s students.

As a program manager in the Aerospace Industry, Antenori knows firsthand Arizona’s need for highly trained engineers, and scientists.  “Math is the foundation of innovation.  If the United States wants to remain the innovation capitol of the world we must refocus our education efforts on math and science.”

The MathAlive! Exhibit includes a virtual downhill snowboard race, and a 360-degree freeze action photo stage.

The Arizona Science Center is located at 600 East Washington Street, Downtown Phoenix (Between 7th Street and 5th Street). The Center features more than 300 hands-on exhibits, live demonstrations, the state-of-the-art Dorrance Planetarium and a five-story IMAX® theater.

Raytheon is one of Southern Arizona’s largest private employers with over 10,500 employees in Tucson.

Frank Antenori is the Senate Majority Whip. During his tenure in the Legislature, the state weathered the devastating national recession and has emerged as the eighth fastest growing economy in the country.

Antenori is running re-election in the new LD 10 district. To learn more about Frank visit his website at www.vote4frank.com
